Mangoes are now in season and my mom was used to prepare this delicious and easy mango cream dessert for us, here the ingredients…

INGREDIENTS

3 manila mangoes cut in cubes

1 can of condensed milk

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1 cup of raspberries to garnish

Preparation time: 15 minutes. Serves 4-6 guests. Cost per person less than $1.00 depending on local ingredient costs. You will need a blender.

Place all ingredients in the blender and combine well until getting a smooth cream. Serve in dessert bowls and garnish with raspberries. This dessert is so easy that you can involve the kids in the preparation. You can also use as a base for a trifle or for mango pudding using layers of ladyfinger biscuits and mango rum. This cream can also be frozen making it a nice option for frozen natural fruit pops.

What a beautiful, refreshing dessert, and I love how easy it is to make. I’m always looking for new ways to use mangos and this is lovely.
