The International Food Bloggers Convention countdown has started, it is incredible this event I have been waiting for months it is almost here. September 20 is around the corner and I have so many plans while in Seattle. Traveling from Florida to Seattle is a long flight but I’m sure it will be a lot of fun since not only attending one of the best food blogger events but also celebrating my wedding anniversary with my hubby while discovering new sites, learning, networking and savoring wonderful food.

Our headquarters during the International Food Bloggers convention week will be at the W Hotel Seattle located in downtown hip Seattle right there in the heart of the food, retail, financial and entertaining scene. Very excited I will be able to have famous Pike Place Market walking distance as well as the Seattle Center, Seattle Waterfront, and Benaroya Symphony Hall.

Our adventure will start with a visit to Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville where we will tor the winery, learn about the process and enjoy a wine tasting. Following day the International Food Bloggers Convention will start with a great program including a keynote with Dorie Greenspan who has written 10 cookbooks and has won six James Beard and IACP awards for them, including Cookbook of the Year twice. She’s also been named to the James Beard Foundation’s Who’s Who of Food and Beverage in America. I’m sure I have a lot to learn from her if deciding to publish my own recipe book soon. Then a session called “Live Food Blogging” with Amazon Grocery, if interested in monetizing a blog I think this is is a must do. Another session that caught my eye is the one named “The Elements in Building Traffic” with experts from Allrecipes and Foodista who will be sharing their tactics in building traffic, my favorite SEO and other tricks. And of course no International Food Bloggers convention could be without a great session on photography and a cooking demo. The renowned New York Times food photographer Andrew Scrivani will open this Food Series with the A-Zs of Digital Food Photography as well as a live cooking demonstration from Chef John Mitzewich of Food Wishes.

The International Food Bloggers Convention promises to be one of the best food blogger events and can’t wait to take the plane and land in Seattle this coming September.

See you at the conference!
