Today we are suggesting a delightful almond cherry chicken salad croissant to celebrate moms or to serve on an upcoming girls night in party. Me and my friends love traveling and Parisian food.

Serving this tasty treat will please my girlfriends tastebuds while transporting ourselves to a Parisian venue and plan another exciting trip to Europe. I honestly cannot wait to board that plane again and venture into new places to knock out that list of must visit cities and restaurant venues.

Notes
Croissants are very popular in French cafes. Those are flaky and buttery, and eaten like simple snacks and paired with café au lait. Last time I was in Nice we had a beautiful meal that included croissants with different spreads, cheese and a variety of charcuterie choices.
In the menu, the croissants options included chocolate hazelnut spread, fruit preserves, homemade fruit confit, cold cuts and a variety of cheeses. But croissant sandwiches go very nicely with seafood, tuna and or chicken salad too.

Inspired in the flavors of Nice we created this recipe for the almond cherry chicken salad croissant. Which is very simple to make, convenient and low cost. As it can be made with chicken leftovers and almost anything available in the pantry.

Who doesn’t have mayo, sour cream, dried fruits, canned white meat or leftover chicken and spices at home. The croissants are easily available at the local bakery and are not expensive. Having easy recipes like this almond cherry chicken salad croissant is good because those can be served in picnics or brought to outdoor activities with the family. And even packed for an easy brown bag lunch to enjoy at the office. The chicken salad is also versatile because it can be served over a bed of lettuce or eaten with crackers instead of bread.

I like chicken salad love the idea of serving it as croissant and it great filling breakfast or lunch. Love the addition of almond as it gives nice crunch on each bite.
First of all, let me say that our kitchen is NEVER without Sazón seasoning. That is ever since we first discovered it. We get the huge size so we don’t run out. I bet the salad is delicious! What a nice luncheon the chicken makes with a croissant. Very special. Will have to make this — very soon.
