Caribbean Sangria

white sangria with coconut rum, pineapple juice, white wine

Caribbean Sangria

This cocktail brings sunshine to any party; if you love the Caribbean Islands try this yellow sangria drink which is one of my favorites.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups of pineapple juice
  • 1 cups of natural orange juice
  • ½ bottle of white wine preferably Riesling (can use Moscato if desired)
  • Malibu Rum (coconut rum)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh pineapple slices, maraschino cherries and pineapple leaves for decorating

Preparation time: 5 minutes. Makes 1 pitcher, 4-6 drinks aprox. Approximate cost per person $3.50 depending on ingredients market price. You will need a pitcher, white wine glasses and a wooden spoon.

Pour the juices and the wine in the pitcher and stir with the wooden spoon, add coconut rum (one serving per person) stir again. Serve in a nice wine glass with ice and decorate with fresh pineapple slices, maraschino cherries and pineapple leaves.

Turn on the Caribbean music, let the sunshine enter your house and enjoy this refreshing cocktail with your guests no matter if it is raining or snowing outside.

Please drink responsibly and do not drink and drive.
