This recipe is simple but at the same time has a wow factor. You really do not need to spend too much time in the kitchen, you just need to find those easy recipes that will be loved by everyone and will make you look like a professional cook.

Using fresh produce like baby kale and garlic is a good thing, any recipe that has fresh ingredients really makes the difference on the flavor profiles and guarantees success. Also using high quality olive oil made from fresh California olives is very important when preparing sauces like this pesto.

The olive oil has a mild flavor but also has that spicy hint on the back of the palate making this recipe a joy to the taste. Last time that I was in California had the chance to visit a walnut and almond farm. It is amazing to see how they grow and how beautiful they are when in raw state.

Eating green it is a good thing, anytime I have the chance to incorporate green into our meals it is a good decision. Leafy greens like kale are good source of fiber which also has folate and magnesium as well as iron. This Kale Pesto Lucky Pasta is a vegetarian option and a nice dish to prepare for your St. Patrick’s celebration at home.

Happy St Patricks Day
Happy St Patrick’s Day!

What a lovely pasta for St Patrick’s Day! I love the kale in place of basil in pesto. Adds a nutritional punch, too.

Cloves shaped pasta!! Omg I haven’t seen that in years! This is PERFECT for St.Patric’s. But for any day actually. Such a fun for our little ones… and healthy too 🙂

I love kale but have never made pesto with it. I’m such a traditional girl and always use basil but after seeing this recipe, I have just got to try it. I know I’ll love it. This pasta looks delicious with the pesto!

What a lovely use of kale and pesto is something that we all love in our house. I feel that kale is very underused in my household and I am looking for recipes like these to use them more often. Gorgeous color of the pesto and I am looking forward to the spring yield of kale to try this out!
