Heart of Florida United Way Chef’s Gala happening on May 10 will feature exquisite cuisine from more than 20 of Central Florida’s top chefs. Each bite will be paired with fine wines, live music and a silent auction. Chef’s Gala is historically United Way’s largest fundraiser for education, income, health and basic needs programs, which serve thousands of Central Floridians in dire need and also recognized as the region’s premier food and wine-pairing event that everyone must attend while helping our community.
I was invited by Heart of Florida United Way to preview the menu that will be offered at Chef’s Gala event prior to the May 10 event being held at Walt Disney World Resort’s Epcot® World Showplace.
Here are few of the bites that the menu will include:

Slow-braised Pork Shank on Parmesan Grits with Shrimp and Sausage. Dish created by Chef Greg Richie from Thornton Park Restaurant Group.
Milk Chocolate Crémeux with Mojito Concoction on Almond Rocher. Dessert created by Pastry Chef Andreas Born from Disney’s Hollywood Studios Bakery.
