For the Instant Pot Pork Tenderloin with Beer 2 pounds pork tenderloin 1 tablespoon corn oil 1 teaspoon roasted garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon thyme 1/2 teaspoon oregano 2 bay leaves 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon in powder 12 punces beer light golden beer
Season the pork tenderloin with the oil, spices and the easonings. Rub the meat with your hands to make sure the meat has been seasoned correctly.
In a hot skillet sear the meat on both sides. It is recommended to do it over high heat as well as using tongs to handle the pork.
Place the two pork tenderloins in the Instant Pot and add the beer. No need to add water.
Turn on the Instant Pot and set to high pressure for 15 minutes. Ensure the valve is tightly closed and that the lid has the plastic ring in place.
When the 15 minutes of cooking are over, release the IP manually following the appropriate safety steps to avoid burns.
Open the pot and place the cooked pork tenderloins and the jus in a bowl or container. Let the meat rest for three minutes before slicing.
Slice the pork and place the slices back in the cooking jus. Serve the meat to your liking.
Tips for cooking the best Instant Pot Pork Tenderloin
Choose a pork tenderloin with deep pink color.
Season the pork tenderloin with cooking oil, powdered chicken bouillon, roasted garlic, thyme, oregano, and bay leaves.
Sear the pork loin in a skillet before cooking in the Instant Pot, giving a beautiful brown color.
Otherwise, after the pork tenderloin cooks in the IP, take it out and broil or torch for a few minutes to achieve the browning effect.
Use gold beer, one complete can, or bottle. The beer provides flavor and moisture, and there is no need to use water.
Save the jus and use it to serve the pork loin or make a gravy sauce with it.
Set the IP in high, and cook the pork loin for fifteen minutes, do a rapid release, and let the pork rest for three minutes before slicing.
