A Kale Pesto Lucky Pasta recipe is our suggestion to get lucky this St Patrick's Day. The pesto is made with fresh baby kale, walnuts, good quality olive oil from California and garlic. Easy and delightful pesto recipe that goes well with pork and chicken, salmon, white fish, shrimp, as well as with pasta.

  • 3 cups of baby kale
  • 1/2 cup of walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup of good quality olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 4 cups of clover shaped pasta
  • 1/2 cup of shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped walnuts to garnish


  • Prepare the kale pesto by adding all ingredients of the list in the blender.
  • Blend all the ingredients until getting a smooth paste.
  • Cook the pasta for 7-10 minutes on salted boiling water. Then temper with cold water.
  • Place on a bowl and combine with the pesto sauce.
  • Serve hot and garnish with shredded parmesan cheese and chopped walnuts.
