Layered Breakfast Smoothie with Milk and Fruits
Inspired by the classic PB&J sandwich, we made a layered breakfast smoothie with Nestlé Carnation Evaporated Milk, Publix brand frozen blueberries, frozen red grapes, banana, maple syrup, and powdered peanut butter.
For the Banana Peanut Butter Layer 1/2 cup Nestlé Carnation Evaporated Milk 1/2 cup crushed ice 1/4 cup cold water 2 small bananas or 1 large 2 tablespoons peanut butter powder 1 tablespoon maple syrup For the Blueberry Grape Layer 1 cup frozen blueberries from Publix 1/2 cup frozen red grapes 1/4 cup water 1 teaspoon maple syrup For the Banana Peanut Butter Layer Add the evaporated milk, water, crushed ice, bananas, peanut butter powder, and maple syrup to your blender. Blend on high until getting a smoothie consistency. Set aside. For the Blueberry Grape Layer Add the blueberries, grapes, water, and maple syrup to your blender. Blend on high until getting a smoothie consistency. Set aside. For the Layered Breakfast Smoothie Use a glass and start layering with the banana peanut butter layer. Do the same with the blueberry grape flavor and repeat the process until the glass is full. Garnish the smoothie with more blueberries and a dollop of peanut butter. (OPTIONAL)
For preparing the layered smoothie, use a smoothie blender.
To achieve the layered effect, the two flavors are blended separately.
We start first with the banana and peanut butter layer. And secondly, with the grape blueberry layer.
Use a tall glass and ladle in stages to get the layering. Calories: 135 kcal Carbohydrates: 30 g Protein: 6 g Fat: 2 g Saturated Fat: 1 g Cholesterol: 3 mg Sodium: 42 mg Potassium: 327 mg Fiber: 3 g Sugar: 20 g Vitamin A: 107 IU Vitamin C: 9 mg Calcium: 43 mg Iron: 1 mg
