Fresh Chickpeas Salsa made with canned chickpeas, freshly chopped tomatoes, jalapeños, purple onion, and cilantro. All seasoned with olive oil, oregano, lemon juice and all purpose latin seasoning.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 2 tomatoes diced
  • 1/2 purple onion chopped
  • 1 jalapeño chopped, deveined and seedless
  • 1/2 cup cilantro chopped
  • 2 limes
  • 1 teaspoon sazon latino cumin, salt and black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Open the canned chickpeas and rinse with water.
  • Chop all the fresh produce and place inside a mixing bowl.
  • Add the chickpeas to the chopped produce.
  • Add lime juice, the all purpose seasoning and olive oil. Mix well.
  • Place the salsa in a bowl with a lid and keep refrigerated until ready to enjoy.
