1peach
1apple
1/4banana
1/2cupgrapesred and green
1cherry
8blueberries
Instructions
Prep the fruits by washing and slicing. Use a chopping block and a paring knife with a flexible blade.
For the Peachy Owl Waffle
The peach owl has four cuts. First, cut in half and choose the best half you want to use. Then make another two cuts on the sides. This is what forms the belly of the owl. Using the other peach half, slice four of these pieces to form the feathers of the head.
Cut two rounds of banana to form the base of the eyes. And cut a triangle to form the beak of the owl and the top feather simulating a diamond. Use the cookie cutter to cut a green grape with the shape of a leaf. Use grapes in the vine to finish the design.
Drizzle the waffle design with real maple syrup.
For the Fallen Apple Waffle
The fallen apple waffle uses a tiny apple with a transversal cut on the bottom, simulating a whole apple inside the waffle.
Cut a small round insition to the apple and place small round red grapes to form a worm.
The body of the worm also has small slices of green grape and slices of blueberry to create the eyes.
Poke the cherry with the round cutter and place a small blueberry inside, simulating another bug is coming out of it.
Cut shapes of flowers and leaves using the cookie cutters and the portion left of the apple. Use the cutouts to finish the decoration.
Drizzled the waffle design with homemade apple syrup.
