Shredded pork on red chile sauce is perfect for eating with rice and refried beans and also for yummy tacos.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pork butt 2 pounds
  • 1 teaspoon of dried garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of Mexican oregano
  • 1 tablespoon of adobo latino
  • 1 teaspoon of grape seed oil
  • 32 ounces of Red Chile Sauce from the Fresh Chile Co two jars
  • Corn tortillas and cilantro to garnish

Instructions
 

  • Season the pork butt with the dry condiments and then sear on the pressure cooker on both sides using grape seed oil.
  • When done add the red chile sauce and cook for 50 minutes on the pressure cooker.
  • When the pork is done using two forks shred the pork and combine well with the juices and the sauce.
  • Warm corn tortillas and stuff with the shredded pork on red chile sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro and enjoy with rice and refried beans.

Notes

The shredded pork on red chile sauce can be cooked on the slow cooker but for this I used my pressure cooker, a cooking technique that is part of my heritage and how my grandmother and great grandmother were used to cook at home.
