We are on the list of finalists nominated to be recognized at the Tecla Awards among fabulous food bloggers and Latino influencers. Final winners to be announced via live streaming services on Thursday April 7th.
I will be traveling to Miami this April to be part of the Hispanicize conference as an attendee and also as a speaker. And if I am lucky enough I will bring home the Tecla Award to share with all of you!
The Tecla Awards is Hispanicize national awards program that honors and highlights the achievements of top Latino and multicultural content creators. This year the Tecla Awards is sponsored by Telemundo and received more than 1,000 nominations, and we we are part of the 5 finalists on the food creators category.
Winners of the 2016 Tecla Awards will be determined by a Tecla Judges Academy comprised of a blue ribbon panel of leaders shaping the future of U.S. Hispanic social media, entertainment and marketing. The judges include creators, senior brand executives, influencer network leaders, publicists and other experts in the online content development industry.
“The Teclas are a powerful statement of the growth and maturity of our digital creators community and the brands and media companies that are now part of this growing universe,” said Cristy Clavijo-Kish, Hispanicize Media Group partner and 2016 Tecla Awards Chair. “Coupled with our exciting co-hosts Jorge Bernal and Julissa Bermudez, a top musical talent performance and a slew of celebrity presenters, the Teclas will be a major highlight of Hispanicize 2016.”
Hispanicize and DiMe Media have put together a wonderful program in conjunction with Telemundo and this awards ceremony will be one to remember. I want to thank all of you for your continued support and to Hispanicize and the judges for recognizing my labor of 5 years developing recipes and publishing food and latino culture related content not only at adrianasbestrecipes.com but also collaborating with well known brands, magazines and recipe portals.
Many of you know I am passionate about food and learning. Food blogging became part of my DNA and my way to share my culture and traditions. My family has been very important in this journey too and my husband is my biggest fan, he has tasted all the dishes I have published since 2011.
I am honored to be finalist and if I win I will share this achievement with all of you that have become witnesses of my love for good food and my desire to inspire others to cook at home. Because food and a hot meal are a great expression of love and caring for others.
Gracias de corazón!
