A Prickly Pear Mexican Sangria for Day of the Dead Festivities

Prickly pear fruit is typical of my Mexican culture and I was thrilled when I was able to find it at my local store. And thought it would be really nice pairing with Slices Sangria. A wine product from Spain all natural made with premium varietal wines blended with all natural fruit juices.

Watch the video to see how easy it is to make the Prickly Pear Mexican Sangria!

The flavor of the Slices Sangria is fresh and fruity. A refreshing drink that pairs well with prickly pear, watermelon and dragon fruit. As well as with Mexican food, like the Yucatan Pork Loin Pibil. This sangria is perfect for serving in parties or just to enjoy at home for a special evening.

And since Dia de Muertos is fast approaching thought would be nice to use Slices Sangria and make it my own using prickly pear and other Mexican fruits to be part of my Day of the Dead menu this coming November 2nd. We live in Florida so we really do not have fall weather. Temperatures are still in the 90s so offering a prickly pear Mexican sangria is a perfect libation for my party. Sangrias are wonderful cocktails because they are not hard liquor and everyone loves the fruity refreshing flavor. And when you are serving the real deal sangria from Spain that makes a difference. Offering quality wines to your guests is important.

Even if you are not a wine connoisseur you can tell when you are enjoying a good wine versus one that is not good quality. You can find Slices Sangria in many retailers and wine stores. Check their site for more details. After tasting this sangria you won’t want to go back to the other brands because Slices Sangria is pure quality and has incredible authentic flavor without being overwhelmingly sweet as the other commercial sangrias in the market. I was in Barcelona a year ago and I can tell the difference between an authentic good sangria and one that is made with low quality wine and lots of sugar. Not real juice.

I invite you to try the Prickly Pear Mexican Sangria made with Slices White Wine Sangria, salud!
