Soy originaria del norte de M\u00e9xico por lo que muchos de los platos tradicionales del sur de los Estados Unidos son parte de las recetas que crec\u00ed disfrutando con mi familia.<\/p>\n<h2>INGREDIENTES<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>1 taza de harina de trigo<\/li>\n<li>1 taza de harina de ma\u00edz amarillo \u00a0(cornmeal)<\/li>\n<li>1 cucharada de polvo para hornear<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cucharadita de sal<\/li>\n<li>2 huevos<\/li>\n<li>1 taza de leche<\/li>\n<li>4 cucharaditas de miel de abeja<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc taza de mantequilla clarificada<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc taza de az\u00facar refinada<\/li>\n<li>Spray antiadherente<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Tiempo de preparaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/span>: 30 minutos. Vas a \u00a0necesitar un molde para hornear redondo y de nueve pulgadas, una batidora, un cernidor para harina, tazones y un horno de gas o el\u00e9ctrico.<\/p>\n<p>Precalienta el horno a 400 F, en tanto el horno alcanza la temperatura correcta prepara el molde para hornear rociando spray antiadherente o bien engrasa con manteca vegetal o mantequilla. Esto se hace para evitar que el pan se pegue y pueda desmoldarse f\u00e1cilmente cuando est\u00e9 \u00a0listo para servir. Cierna las harinas de trigo y ma\u00edz con el polvo de hornear y la sal. Colocar las harina cernidas en un taz\u00f3n y a\u00f1ade la leche, los huevos, la mantequilla, la miel y el az\u00facar. Mezcla usando la batidora durante unos segundos alrededor de 8-10 como m\u00e1ximo. Procura no batir demasiado para obtener mejores resultados. Vierte la mezcla en el molde y hornea durante 20-30 minutos hasta que el pan est\u00e9 dorada. Para saber que el pan esta cocido inserta un palillo de madera en el centro de la pan si \u00e9ste sale limpio el pan est\u00e1 listo. Deja enfriar y saca del molde separando cuidadosamente los bordes con un cuchillo.<\/p>\n<p>La consistencia del pan debe estar h\u00fameda y esponjosa, as\u00ed como debe tener un sabor dulce y cremosito. Si quieres modificar el sabor del pan y agregar un poco de picante a\u00f1ade a la mezcla jalape\u00f1os picados finamente. El tocino y queso cheddar tambi\u00e9n van muy bien con este pan. Esta receta b\u00e1sica ofrece la oportunidad de ser creativo y comenzar a explorar nuevos sabores para a\u00f1adir a tu pan de ma\u00edz para convertirlo en su receta propia.<\/p>\n<figure
