And there is nothing easier than to make this pinto bean hummus. Made with canned pinto beans and ready to use hummus such as Hummus Made Easy®, available in the bean aisle at your local supermarket or on Amazon. It is the perfect blend of simple ingredients like tahini, olive oil and spices. I just added the pinto beans and garlic. Blended and was ready in no time.

Very surprised with the flavor as I had only used the BUSH’s Hummus Made Easy before but with garbanzo beans for a classic hummus. But the pinto beans really go well with this product and you can make it a day in advance to save time. My husband was delighted with this hummus. He enjoyed it with veggies. Which makes it a wholesome way to add a fresh item to the menu.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package BUSH's Hummus Made Easy
  • 1 can pinto beans or 2 cups of cooked pinto beans
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 lemon juiced

Instructions
 

  • Pour into the blender the BUSH's Hummus Made Easy.
  • Then add the canned pinto beans, the garlic and the lemon juice.
  • Blend for 5 minutes and serve on a bowl.

Notes

You can serve the pinto bean hummus with pita chips or fresh veggies.
