This is a summery recipe is very easy to make and has few ingredients. Including fresh golden pineapple, purple onion, habanero, cilantro, lime juice and pink salt.

This salsa is refreshing and perfect for a summer sun kissed garnishing to give a tropical touch to any meal. Now that grilling month is in full swing we need to have easy recipes to prepare side dishes that will complement all those yummy grilled meats and tacos.
You will love the combination of flavors. It has sweetness, citrusy and spicy notes. And of course the freshness of the cilantro and the sweetness of the purple onion ties the flavors very nicely.
I use a pineapple corer for easy cutting of the fruit. Then remove the pineapple heart and use the pineapple as a bowl for serving and presentation.

Habanero Pineapple Salsa
- 2 cups pineapple chopped
- 1/2 cup purple onion chopped
- 1 habanero chopped
- 1 lime juiced
- 1 teaspoon pink salt
- 1/2 cup cilantro chopped
- Combine all ingredients together and serve.
- Use the actual pineapple as a bowl for better presentation.
- Can use less habanero for a less spicy option.
