Thanksgiving Entertaining

Thanksgiving is coming soon and I am getting excited with all the preparations and entertaining ideas as well as thinking about the menu I am to be cooking for my family and guests. I like to include each Thanksgiving a different dish or cocktail to the menu and update some of my decor and serving plates so I have this tradition prior the Holidays I visit Target to check out what they have and have found gems at a very good price for my upcoming Thanksgiving gathering.

In my recent visit to Target I found so many nice details for my Thanksgiving feast from salt and pepper shakers to beautiful plates featuring the colors of the fall. This serving platters are so pretty and also a must have when you have a dinner gathering to place the turkey, the salad, those delicious sides and of course the traditional pumpkin and apple pies.

During the Thanksgiving holiday and Christmas I also have another tradition which is I offer my adult guests a unique cocktail to celebrate the season but have figured that cocktails really taste better when you have appropriate glassware and gadgets. If you love those holiday cocktails definitely martini glasses and a martini bottle are in order. If you are offering wine a decanter is a must have, it makes such a difference on the taste of the wine and makes your cocktail table or bar look so professional.

I have seen in the stores that metallic cloths and napkins are very trendy for this holiday season and at Target you can find so many styles. I particularly like the golden tones because those go really well with my decor at home. I am going to mix and match new with the old to have a unique look while celebrating our Thanksgiving and Christmas, embracing our family traditions and why not incorporating also new so please join the conversation and share with us which are your favorite Thanksgiving and Holiday traditions!
