SeaWorld Viva La Musica 2012

Last Saturday what a fun day it was, as you recall my husband and I were provided complimentary admission to attend SeaWorld’s Viva La Música event hosted by Ella Media.

The celebration started with a feast consisting of arroz con gandules, maduros, tostones, chicken skewers and pork. Then off to meet with SeaWorld’s Executive Chef Héctor Col?n who told me his inspiration to cook comes from the enjoyment of his guests savoring this special dishes prepared with care and honoring his own Caribbean heritage.

To our surprise  the party was just commencing and we were in for another treat, a special meet and greet with who else but Elvis Crespo with whom I had the chance to get a picture before the show. At the Bayside Stadium location where the concerts take place,  we danced to the merengue beat, laughed and enjoyed Elvis Crespo live.

This was the first time we attended Viva La Música and found out many interesting things, like this event not only showcases Latino food and music but also supports local Hispanic talent like Pedro Brull a Cuban fine artist of Central Florida and that SeaWorld organizes this event yearly basis showing it’s commitment to embrace the Hispanic culture and traditions.

If you enjoy Latino culture this event at SeaWorld it is a must do, here is the scoop on the talent coming up this weekend and the weeks to come:

  • April 21 – Grupo Niche (salsa)
  • April 28 – RKM & Ken-Y (reggaeton)
  • May 5 – Gilberto Santa Rosa (salsa)

The best way to experience Viva La Música is with a 2012 SeaWorld Fun Card, where you pay for a day and come back all year through Dec. 31, 2012, to enjoy unlimited admission to Viva La Música and other events, plus experience all the amazing animal encounters, world-class thrill rides and family fun SeaWorld has to offer, with no blackout dates.

So see you this weekend at SeaWorld Viva La Música,  I cannot miss the party with Grupo Niche!

Event dates, times and artists are subject to change.
